At the same time, the BMW X3 appears more athletic than ever before – and, on the inside, emphatically underlines its outstanding premium character with high-quality materials.
EXTERIOR DESIGN.
A convincing appearance: The exterior of the BMW X3 comes with sportiness as standard. Thanks to the wide bumper with powerful air inlets, the front develops a commanding presence. The large double kidney grille makes a clear statement with its prominent central position and is brimming with self-confidence. Distinctive headlights extending from both sides to the kidney grille add the finishing touch to the front and are optionally available in xenon or full LED technology. Integrated inside them – and in the exterior mirror housings as well – are the indicator lamps. The standard-feature fog lights are also optionally available with LED.
From the side, the silhouette has the unmistakeable BMW X3 look. A character line extending to the rear emphasises the hint of a wedge shape, which adds a further air of dynamics. The unique interpretation of the Hofmeister kink identifies the vehicle unambiguously as a BMW X3. With its dominant bumper, the rear rounds off the overall appearance and emphasises the solid, stable stance. Another striking detail is the underbody protection, which, in conjunction with the xLine package, is in Aluminium look.
ADAPTIVE LED HEADLIGHTS.
The Adaptive LED Headlights include low-beam and high-beam headlights and turn indicators with full LED technology. The LED turn indicators are placed clearly above the characteristic LED daytime running lights, which give off light from the three-dimensional light tubes typical of BMW. The Adaptive LED Headlights also feature the BMW Selective Beam (anti-dazzle High-Beam Assistant), LED fog lights, cornering lights and Adaptive Headlights with variable light control for optimal road illumination and enhanced visibility at night – making driving almost as relaxing as during the day.
INTERIOR DESIGN.
The interior of the BMW X3 combines a high-quality atmosphere with ingenious functionality. Exciting lines divide the instrument panel and the inside of the doors. Together with the vertical curve in the centre console, they emphasise the modern look while retaining BMW typical driver orientation. And thanks to the elevated seating position, all passengers enjoy an outstanding view. In addition, the BMW X3 impresses with equipment options of a quality that you can see and feel immediately. Selected materials with details such as chrome trims and highlighted accents emphasise the modernity and quality of the interior.
COLOURS & MATERIALS.
The selection of colours and materials for the BMW X3 offers a range of high-quality options. The spectrum for the exterior ranges from classical variations such as Mineral White metallic to expressive tones such as Deep Sea Blue metallic. This is the perfect way of underlining the self-confident, robust appearance of the BMW X3. The vehicle impresses with first-class materials and designs on the inside, too. Many different decors are available for the interior surfaces – e.g. Fineline anthracite with accent lines in Pearl-Gloss Chrome for a modern ambience. Or exclusive wood designs, such as Burled Walnut, that lend the interior an elegant note. A selection of leather seat covers is available to add an individual finishing touch to the interior. These include Leather Nevada Mocha with striking contrast stitching in Active Red.
AMBIENCE.
As soon as you get into the BMW X3, you’ll be mesmerised by the atmosphere. Ample space and the elevated seating position convey a feeling of safety. The excellent all-round view is augmented by the large optional panorama glass roof, which allows plenty of light into the interior. Thanks to outstanding sound insulation, there is no disturbance due to loud noises from outside. Instead, you can enjoy your musical favourites with the optional Harman Kardon surround sound system. High-quality materials, numerous storage possibilities and comfort functions increase the feel-good factor in the BMW X3 − and turn even the longest journey into a comfortable pleasure.
Lighting package
The lighting package, partially featuring energy-saving and long-lasting LED technology, provides attractive illumination of both the interior and exterior of the vehicle. The lighting package includes a variety of additional lights: front and rear reading lights, vanity mirror lights for the driver and front passenger, footwell illumination at the front, two-colour ambient lights at the front and rear in the door panels, storage compartment, centre console and more, exit lights, and vicinity lighting in the exterior door handles. In this way, optimal orientation around the vehicle is guaranteed even when it is dark.
Harman Kardon Surround Sound System
The Harman Kardon surround sound system offers a listening experience to rival any concert hall. An equalizing digital amplifier with a 600 W output and individually selectable equalizing guarantees brilliant, top-quality sound.
A total of 16 finely tuned speakers – seven mid-range, seven tweeters and two centre bass – provide the acoustic highlights inside the vehicle, with the aluminium ‘harman/kardon’ lettering in front door panels adding an optical flourish to complement the audio quality.
