Exterior
The Urban Line rolls along on attractive 16'' light alloy wheels in V-spoke style 411. The BMW double kidney grille, with grille slats in Oxide Silver matt and a frame in high-gloss Chrome, offers a visual highlight at the front of the vehicle. The front air routing inlets are in high-gloss Black and – just like the rear bumper – also come with a highlight bar in matt Oxide Silvermatt. The bar positioned in the middle of the air inlet on the front bumper is painted in high-gloss Black. The ''Urban Line'' lettering can be found on the side panels at the front-left and front-right.
17" light alloy wheels V-spoke style 412 in Bicolour Silver are available as an exclusive alternative for the Urban Line. Other wheels are also available.Interior
Even before entering the vehicle, the remote control with elegant detailing in Pearl Chrome offers a foretaste of the excitement to come. When the front doors are opened, one's eyes are automatically drawn towards the door sill finishers with aluminium inserts and the "BMW Urban" lettering.
Passengers are comfortably accommodated on elegant seats in cloth/leather combination in a 'Path' Silver/Pearl Grey design. Black interior trim finishers in acrylic glass with Oxide Silver matt highlight trim finishers, along with a relaxing mixture of direct and indirect lighting – such as the ambient light, illuminated door handles and footwell illumination – give the interior a luxurious ambience. The light colour can be switched from blue to orange. The armrest with sliding adjustment also contributes to the excellent level of comfort enjoyed by the driver and front passenger. The easy-grip sport leather steering wheel allows the driver to fully enjoy the precision of BMW suspension.
Seats in cloth/leather combination in a 'Path' Black/Silver design, along with interior trim finishers in white acrylic glass with structural embossing and matt Oxide Silver matt highlight trim finishers, are also available as an alternative.

The Sport Line rolls along on dynamic 16'' light alloy wheels Star-spoke style 376. The BMW double kidney grille comes with a chrome frame, whereas the grille slats and other striking design details – such as the highlight bar on the rear bumper or air routing inlets on the front – are in high-gloss Black.
The tailpipe trim in Black Chrome, along with the "Sport" lettering on the side panels in the front, offer a foretaste of the model's dynamic pedigree.

When opening the front doors, door sill finishers with aluminium inserts – including the "BMW Sport" logo – give a foretaste of the dynamic pedigree of the Sport Line. The driver and front passenger are provided with optimum support on sport seats, which are upholstered in cloth 'Corner' Anthracite with Red highlights. High-gloss Black interior trim finishers with Coral Red matt highlight trim finishers, along with a relaxing mixture of direct and indirect lighting – such as ambient light, interior light and footwell illumination – create a dynamic, yet comfortable, ambience. The light colour can be switched from white to orange.
The armrest with sliding adjustment also contributes to the excellent level of comfort enjoyed by the driver and front passenger. With the easy-grip Sport leather steering wheel with red contrast stitching, the driver always maintains perfect control of the vehicle. The instrument cluster with a special dial design, red detailing and chronoscales with finer increments also contributes to the interior's athletic appearance. A remote control with a red inlay rounds off the sporty look.
The sport seats with cloth 'Corner' Anthracite with Grey highlights and high-gloss Black interior trim finishers with Oxide Silver matt highlight trim finishers are available as an alternative.
M SPORT PACKAGE.
Extreme sport takes to the streets: With the M Sport package, you can display the sporty character of the BMW 1 Series 3-door for all to see – inside and out. The design details of the M Aerodynamics package and the M Sport suspension (part of the package) give the vehicle an irresistibly athletic presence.
Exterior
Thanks to the M Sport suspension and 17" M light alloy wheels Double-spoke style 383 M with mixed tyres, the M Sport package is ideally suited to meeting the demands of drivers with a penchant for dynamic driving. The M Aerodynamics package with bumpers and side skirts in the body colour, along with the rear diffuser insert in exclusive contrasting Dark Shadow metallic, highlight the vehicle's athletic look. Each segment in the BMW double kidney grille with chrome frame features nine grille slats with high-gloss Black fronts. The sporty appearance is rounded off by BMW Individual high-gloss Shadow Line features such as the trim strips, side frames, window recess finishers and exterior mirror base and frame in high-gloss Black. The tailpipe comes in high-gloss Chrome. M logos on the side panels at the front indicate the car's dynamic ambitions. The Estoril Blue metallic paint finish is exclusively available with the M Sport package.
Alternatively, the M Sport package is also available with the standard suspension or the Adaptive M suspension, along with 18'' M light alloy wheels Double-spoke style 461 M in Silver or Ferric Grey metallic with mixed tyres.Interior
M Sport package sport seats in cloth/Alcantara combination Hexagon Anthracite with contrast stitching in Royal Blue and in exclusive M style. These seats offer the driver and front passenger optimal support, while the armrest with sliding adjustment provides enhanced comfort. The BMW Individual headliner Anthracite and interior trim finishers in Aluminium Hexagon with matt blue highlight trim finishers exquisitely highlight the vehicle's dynamic performance. The driver always maintains perfect control of the vehicle thanks to the M leather steering wheel with a three-spoke design, contoured thumb rests and multifunction buttons. Featuring a diameter of 373 mm and the M emblem, the steering wheel rim comes in leather 'Walknappa' Black with black stitching. The instrument cluster, whose chronoscales have finer increments, accentuates the vehicle's athletic pedigree, while the car key with Estoril Blue detailing means that the driver's penchant for dynamic driving is evident to all, even when outside of the vehicle.
A mixture of direct and indirect lighting, such as the interior light and footwell illumination, adds a striking touch to the interior. The light colour can be switched from white to orange.
The interior trim finishers are also available in Aluminium Hexagon with highlight trim finishers in high-gloss Black as an alternative. Additional interior trim finishers are available.
Transportation & luggage
The modern BMW roof box 320 in white and anthracite provides space for up to five pairs of alpine skis up to 185 cm in length and is compatible with all BMW roof rack systems. Due to the fact that it can be opened from both sides and has triple central locking on each side, the skis are easy to load and protected against theft.
The universal holder is ideal for transporting all kinds of objects. Thanks to four freely adjustable holders, four strap eyelets and two tension belts, even large, bulky items can be securely fastened.
The BMW Junior Seat Group 2/3 in black/blue "grows" as the child grows and can be used over an extremely long period of time, for children aged approx. three to twelve (approx. 15–36 kg). It is secured with the car's three-point seat belt and can also be connected to the car's ISOFIX anchor points. This means that the seat offers increased stability. At the same time, the patented air pads and high side bolsters ensure optimal side-impact protection for the head. Additionally, the child seat fits optimally into any vehicle seat thanks to its adjustable backrest angle. The backrest's folding function ensures easy transport outside of the vehicle, while travelling for example.
The holder or integrating an Apple iPad 2, 3 or 4, including a port for USB/charging cable. Can be easily attached to the basic carrier (required) and removed at the touch of a button. The Apple iPad can be easily clipped into the 360° rotating frame. The fact that it can be set to various positions ensures that rear passengers have a comfortable reading angle, can watch videos in a relaxed position or engage in online communication (only in conjunction with the BMW Car Hotspot). Thanks to an integrated leg on the back, the holder can also be set up outside the vehicle.
The bicycle/ e-bike holder for the trailer tow hitch is light but stable and can carry a load of up to 60 kg. Outstandingly easy to handle, it and can transport two bicycles or e-bikes (can be extended to accommodate three bicycles). The BMW LED doorsill finishers don't require any additional wiring and are operated with batteries and magnetic switches. The "BMW" lettering glows white, with the surrounding surface finished in brushed stainless steel.
The innovative Head-Up Screen transmits navigation tips and current vehicle information onto a transparent screen in the driver's field of vision. It is very easy to read, even in direct sunlight. Vehicle information – such as the fuel gauge, cruise control display, speed limits or ice warning – is displayed. This allows the driver to fully concentrate on the traffic. This increases both safety and comfort. The Head-Up Screen can be quickly mounted in a garage using a cable that is barely visible, and removed again at any time. All the screen's settings and the range of information displayed can be controlled using the specially developed BMW Head-Up Screen app. The BMW Head-Up Screen receives its navigation data via WiFi using an app, developed by Garmin and BMW, which needs to be installed on the user's smartphone. A free update of the navigation app is available once a year. Both apps are free and are available for both Android and iOS.
The elegant and convenient BMW Bluetooth headset can be operated via buttons or voice control in conjunction with a compatible mobile phone, guaranteeing the highest level of safety. Silicon ear buds come in three sizes and the optional around-ear hooks provide additional comfort for the wearer.
BMW Natural Air products are the most convenient way to ensure a refreshing interior ambience. Fragrance sticks can be placed in a special holder that attaches quickly and easily to any BMW ventilation grille. The sticks are interchangeable and the intensity of their scent can be adjusted by hand. The BMW Natural Air starter kit comprises a holder, colour-matched to the vehicle's interior, and one stick for each of the following aromas: Purifying Green Tea, Energizing Tonic, Balancing Amber, Harmonizing Flowers, Sparkling Raindrops and Vitalizing Woods. Create an atmosphere of well-being with scents extracted from essential natural oils and made exclusively for BMW.
The BMW Urban key case combines high-quality leather with innovative metal detailing and perfectly complements the dynamic character of the vehicle. The key firmly attaches to the case, is protected from scratches and can be easily twisted out. In black/light grey, complements the Urban Line.
