The new BMW M4 CS is a special model from BMW M GmbH, in the tradition of high-performance vehicles originating from the BMW M3 Evolution of the E30 Series. With only a limited production run available, the BMW M4 CS gene from the BMW M4 GTS is united with the day-to-day suitability of the four-seat BMW M4 Coupé. Full of innovative M technologies and efficient, lightweight carbon-fibre components, this model athlete can complete the legendary “Nordschleife” (North Loop) of the Nürburgring in an impressive 7:38 minutes, without any sacrifice to its day-to-day usefulness. High-performance on the street – redefined.

INCREDIBLE TO SEE. AMAZING TO DRIVE.

Pure dynamics.

The distinctive front end expresses uncompromising athleticism through its flat double kidney grille with black-trimmed slats and the characteristic double LED headlights. The three-part front apron with large air inlets highlights the dynamics and ensures efficient cooling for the six-cylinder, high-performance engine, as well as the standard Ceramic Brake*. The new model-specific front splitter made of a light exposed carbon-fibre is street-legal and reduces front-axis lift for an additional dynamic driving boost.

* Dependent on conditions and usage, features specific to the materials used can lead to operational noises particularly in wet conditions just before the vehicle comes to a halt. The impact of moisture and road salt can cause the braking action to be equivalent to a conventional brake system. This can for a short time be experienced as a reduction in braking action and can be balanced out by greater pressure on the pedal where necessary.

Impelling power.

The M TwinPower Turbo inline 6-cylinder petrol engine in the BMW M4 CS makes super sports car performance possible. With 460 hp and 600 Nm torque, the high-performance engine accelerates the extreme sports car from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.9* seconds and reaches an electronically limited top speed of 280 km/h.

Athletic lightweight construction.

Innovative lightweight components characterise the athletic lines of the BMW M4 CS. The CFRP engine bonnet, known from the BMW M4 GTS, is an additional 25 per cent lighter than the already weight-optimised aluminium bonnet of the BMW M4 Coupé. The slightly retracted CFRP roof is six kilograms lighter than a metal roof and lowers the centre of gravity for excellent agility. Also made of carbon-fibre, the daily-driving suitable Gurney flap on the rear spoiler substantially reduces rear axel lift when compared to the M4 with the Competition Package.

Perfect road grip.

The ten-spoke light-alloy wheels in Orbit Grey were specially designed for the BMW M4 CS and are based on the design of the successful M4 racecar of the Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters (DTM). The forged, weight-optimised wheels are standard for the series, and come equipped with mixed tyres: Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 with the dimensions 265/35 R 19 are used up front with 285/30 R 20 in the rear. For even greater day-to-day usefulness, Michelin sport tyres with stronger profiles are also available as an option.

Characteristic rear.

The muscular rear of the BMW M4 CS is characterised by a spoiler with a Gurney flap made of exposed carbon-fibre. It reduces rear-axel lift to optimise driving behaviour, particularly at higher speeds. The M diffuser made of carbon-fibre reinforced plastic (CFRP) provides an eye-catching finish to the rear. The M logo also appears on the stainless steel M double tailpipes of the sporty dual exhaust system on the BMW M4 CS. Like the BMW M4 GTS, the L-form rear lights utilise futuristic OLED technology, and fascinate with dynamic light animation and 3D effects.

THOROUGHLY SPORTY.

The interior also contributes to the athletic exclusivity of the BMW M4 CS, even before you get in  – thanks to the fine aluminium doorsill finishers with the M4 CS designation. The standard M Alcantara steering wheel with anthracite-coloured Alcantara and blue-red M stitching and the model designation at 12 o’clock – all ensuring maximum grip in all driving situations. There is an unobstructed view of the round-format instruments in the typical M style. The fine, Alcantara trim is adorned with an eye-catching and exclusive CS designation.

The lightweight M Sport seats – like in the BMW M4 Coupé with Competition Package – are covered with ‘Merino’ leather and Alcantara in the BMW M4 CS. They guarantee a snug, encapsulating feel for hard driving on the racetrack, but still provide for excellent comfort on long-distance trips. The interior of the BMW M4 CS is characterised by innovative lightweight components. It is covered in Alcantara with dark grey contrast stitching. The ultra-lightweight door and side coverings and door-closing loop with M stripes provide the final characteristic touch to the ambience of this special edition vehicle.

ANIMATED HIGHLIGHT INCLUDED.

OLED light design.

The rear lights on the BMW M4 CS are designed with a futuristic lighting technology based on organic light-emiting diodes (OLED), which provide an extensive and extremely homogeneous light. With their dynamic, 3D light animation, the rear lights compliment the width of the rear, and lend the sports coupé a more powerful and optically distinct appearance that is unmistakable both day and night.
