The individual details are impressive, the combination is overwhelming: The BMW M6 Gran Coupé is much more than a perfectly attuned mix of high-performance technologies. It is the embodiment of the experience and the craftsmanship of BMW M engineers. With a spirited, majestic character that you really have to experience for yourself. Preferably in one of the five perfectly contoured seats – and, if desired, surrounded by the finest materials from the BMW Individual Collection. A full-bodied rumble from the unmistakable twin tailpipes announces the awesome power of the 560 hp M TwinPower Turbo V8 petrol engine. With its symbiosis of technologies such as the M double-clutch transmission with Drivelogic and optional M Carbon ceramic brake, the BMW M6 Gran Coupé is a rousing reflection of the M philosophy. And even this experience can be further intensified: The optional Competition package increases both performance and the pulse rate of the pilot in the cockpit of the powerfully modelled body.

Converts power into amazement: The M TwinPower Turbo 8-cylinder petrol engine is the crowning glory of the M power units. Its enormous power of 560 hp (412 kW) and 680 Nm is available at all times thanks to the innovative TwinScroll turbocharging concept.
This is possible due to the combination of high engine speeds, turbocharging and technological highlights such as Valvetronic and High Precision Injection. And full torque goes on stream from approx. 1,500 rpm, charting an impressive output curve of virtually linear power delivery − as well as putting a smile on the driver's face. The M TwinPower Turbo 8-cylinder petrol engine demonstrates that power and efficiency are by no means mutually exclusive with its intelligent BMW EfficientDynamics technologies such as Brake Energy Regeneration. These make for an average fuel consumption of just 9.9 litres of petrol per 100 kilometres.
