M DRIVER ORIENTATION.

Every switch, every button − everything is precisely where you'd expect to find it. After all, response time and control are what counts, both on the race circuit and on the road.
ACTIVE AND PASSIVE SAFETY.
Active Protection uses the Attentiveness assistant to monitor the driver for signs of fatigue. In dangerous situations it pretensions the front seat belts, moves the front passenger seat into an upright position and closes the side windows and sliding glass roof. After a collision, the brakes are automatically applied to prevent or reduce the impact of follow-on collisions.
Every M car meets high standards of passive safety thanks to the use of carefully selected materials and a highly rigid structure. This is combined with a very efficient restraint system designed in accordance with crash tests carried out by respected independent institutions – so passengers can count on the best possible protection.
ADAPTIVE LED HEADLIGHTS.
Adaptive LED headlights are characterized by light distribution that automatically adjusts to the driving speed, dynamically illuminating the road ahead. Along with side lights and daytime running lights, it includes the adaptive headlight function with variable city and motorway light distribution, cornering lights, as well as BMW Selective Beam (anti-dazzle High-beam assistant) with automatic high-beam and low-beam functions. That allows the system to offer optimal road illumination under all conditions.
In the dark, the moveable headlights allow the driver to see far into curves as soon as the wheel is turned. To improve short-range visibility, the cornering lights are automatically activated as soon as the turn indicator is switched on or the steering wheel is turned – even when the vehicle is at a standstill. The adaptive headlights ensure optimum illumination on the road, significantly increasing active safety.
BMW Selective Beam allows the driver to leave the high-beams on constantly, facilitating optimal visual conditions at night. The system monitors the presence of vehicles in front or oncoming traffic and continuously adjusts the high-beam lights to avoid dazzling other road users.
BMW SERVICE INCLUSIVE.
With BMW Service Inclusive, customers can choose a specific coverage period, without worrying about accumulating costs for regular service and maintenance work. These services, including Original BMW Parts, are all covered by BMW Service Inclusive. This option is available not only domestically, but also worldwide at all participating BMW repair shops and authorised BMW Service partners. And should the BMW be sold, the BMW Service Inclusive package is automatically passed on to the subsequent owner, increasing the resale value of the vehicle. Customers can select a BMW Service Inclusive package that suits their individual needs.
It covers regular services like oil changes with filtering and refills, servicing and changing microfilters, fuel filters, air filters and spark plugs, brake fluid changes, vehicle check-ups, and additional services in keeping with BMW standards. When customers select a BMW Service Inclusive Plus package, they also receive the following additional BMW Service Inclusive services: replacing the front and rear brake pads/discs, clutch (when needed) or windscreen wipers (when needed, in the scope of an oil change). Service Inclusive is available with coverage periods of three to ten years or with mileage-based contracts of 40,000 to 200,000 km.
